The leaves break apart by hand, which is a true sign of this tea's age. Wet leaves are dark and rich smelling, typical of a tuocha's small leaf base. 1990 Menghai Zuncha Brick 250g This well preserved and dry stored brick is a classic shu (cooked) Pu-erh. It has the taste of Jujube and Ginseng Herbal taste. The aging was slower during these years, producing flavorful Pu-erh's that rival good sheng cakes. 2005 Green 350g Beeng Awazon These fresh cakes are very special. They can be consumed now or give them 10 years to get brown and slowly oxidize. This slow aging is the most coveted of all Pu-erh's.
