1990 Menghai Zuncha Brick 250g
This well preserved and dry stored brick is a classic shu (cooked) Pu-erh. It has the taste of Jujube and Ginseng Herbal taste. The aging was slower during these years, producing flavorful Pu-erh's that rival good sheng cakes. Really nice taste and recommended.
1990's Iron Cake Traditional Characters 8653
This early 90's raw (green) cake is from the Xia Guan factory and is wrapped with the thin silk lined paper which was used for this series of 8653 Pu-erh's. A worthy addition which is smooth and infuses many times.
1990's Menghai Grand Red Label 350 g
This is a great early 1990's production of the old and famous Grand Red label of the 1950's. While this tea does not have the age, it does have excellent leaves and a beany and camphor taste that is quite unique. The leaves actually have a tinge of red color when steeped.
1990's Tong Xing Green Beeng Cha
This cake is made from an old factory which has been making Pu-erh for over 100 years. This cake is rich, smooth and slightly camphor tasting all with a very full bouquet. This recipe of tea production creates an almost malty taste as the leaves are cafefully and mildly oxidized during drying. This tea has had a nice ammount of time to age is and very drinkable.
1990's Tung Ching 350 g Green Beeng Cha
This cake comes from a well known factory. Although this is a green cake, it has a deep tasting flavor that gives it a shou taste. The leaves are dark but show to be raw when steeped. Late 1990's.
1990's White Needle Golden Lotus Loose Leaf Pu-erh
This circa 1990 loose leaf tea is made from very fine and small tips, which give it some white tipped qualities. It is a nice aged loose leaf, and much in demand in China now also.
1990's Xiaguan Tibetan Mushroom 250 g
This is a tea made in the mid 90's and is made from the special Tibetan fermentation formula. Xiaguan factory is well known for making this special tea. The leaves are moderately compressed and can be broken off by hand. This tea has a realy great earthy taste on the beany side. Quite desirable and good for 5 or more good infusions.
1993 Menghai Green Beeng Cha 7542
This cake is made from naturally slow oxidized leaves. They turn a chocolate brown color when steeped. The brew is a lighter color, but the taste is definitely of a mellowed and aged character. Menghai factory.

We are happy to offer this very special edition of this raw (green) Pu-erh. The leaves are large and intact, as well as exhibiting a great shade of brown. A light brew with a mild but full taste lingers in the mouth. A great thick cake that is quite enjoyable.

1998 Grand Yellow Label Beeng Cha
This is a very tasty cake. It is a special edition of the famous Grand Yellow cakes of the 1950's-60's. The leaves of this tea are very large and intact. I am sure this tea will get better, but it is amazing right now. This is a solid choice to taste a very good Pu-erh. Made with green leaves at the Menghai Factory.
1998 Menghai Green Tuocha 100g
This tuocha is green on its way to becoming brown. It still has some astringency but not too edgy. Nice wrapper of Menghai, just do not overbrew.
1998 Menghai Red Seal Green Beeng
This cake produces many nice infusions and has a full taste that stays in the nouth for a while. The inner Neifei is the classic green seal, although the wrappers are of the big red seal. 1998
1999 Yi Wu Mountain Green Beeng 350g
This Dadugang Yi Wu raw Pu-erh cake is made from 2nd grade nice leaves and was picked in the Xishanbanna area of Yunnan. The leaves are brownish now but with some astringency if oversteeped. That should go away in a few more years to make this a really top shelf Pu-erh.
2008 Tianjian Black Tea
This black tea is aged in bamboo baskets. Each basket contains 2 kg, but we are selling it by the 2 oz package so it is easier to check out and try. The tea is loose but compressed in the basket and it has a light taste for a black tea and is slightly smokey. It is said to help metabolize fats andclam digestion, both similiar to Pu-erh tea.
