During the 1980's leaves were still brought from Yunnan to Guang Dong (Canton) to process these cakes. Other local leaves may also have been used. Today that makes for a very interesting and tasty cake that has the unique shape and tapered edges that make this tea unique. There is a special production method for these teas that give it it's own special taste. It could be your new favorite cake; it 'makes' me want to drink more.
