White tea is known for it’s minimal processing. Looking at this tea in its dried state shows the natural unaltered plant as nature intended it. The varied leaf base is light and voluminous. Use more of this in your teapot for it’s full taste to infuse. Steep for short periods of less than two minutes so the tea does not bitter. The brew is darker than the Baihao Yinzhen because of the bigger top leaves. The leaves turn from green to brown in the hot water, showing it’s mild oxidation.
