Dahongpao - This rare dark Wuyi oolong tea is prized throughout the world. The aroma of the tea is lasting and the flavor is quite full bodied. The leaves are black when dry and after steeping reveal a dark green fermented leaf which is long and thin.We offer this variety loose leafed by the pound and in interesting prepacks from China. The leaves can be used 2 to 3 times. A delicious and deep colored tea which can handle light boiling water for a short steep of 1-2 minutes for full flavor.
