Royal Keemun Qihong- Although these leaves are small they deliver intense and rich flavor. This “king of black teas” has a flowery aroma. This tea ages well and is said to improve over time. A tablespoon or less of these tiny leaves made gongfu style will make a gourmet cup of tea. If brewed in a larger pot let steep an extra minute or two. No need for sugar because this tea has a natural sweetness. For anyone that is not a fan of black tea, this is a great one to get you over the fence. Can be used two or three times with full boiling water. This is a must for the “top shelf” of your tea cabinet.
